The Linksys E3200 is, without a doubt, an impressive product. It’s one VERY easy to set router that appears to operate reliably and even comes with a couple of notable bells and whistles. However, some of the ‘high performance’ claims proved to be slightly exaggerated and I wasn’t impressed by the quality of user support.

The controls are user-friendly. you haven’t needed user support, which is a first for this non-tech! The design of the Linksys E3200 router is sleek and easy to fit into varying decor. when your previous router was an enormous headache; this one, a pleasure to set up and use.

Linksys E3200 Review

Here is one of the honest Linksys E3200 review by Thomas that already purchase and use this Router.

I bought our unit at the Shack but only because when your wireless system is down, you can’t buy nothing online.
The Linksys E3200 was purchased to replace a defective E3000 which was purchased at the end of November 2010. Our wireless system currently consists of a Motorola SB6120 modem, a Cisco/Linksys E3200 wireless router and a Dual-Band Cisco/Linksys WMP600N dual-band wireless adapter. On screen, the system shows five bars and is rock solid.
Setup for the Linksys E3200 was a no-brainer. Install was as simple as technology can get. Connect the router to the modem, plug the unit into your powerstrip, place the install disk in the Blu-Ray player disk bay, follow the on-screen prompts and our three computers were up-and-running in minutes. Very nice.
On the desk, the unit looks good and after several weeks of use, this combination of modem/router has quite literally performed flawlessly. We haven’t had a single reset with this combination whereas with the Comcast provided RCA modem and the E3000 router, we had to do a system reset every two or three days. No biggie, just a pain in the patootie. Using speedtestdotcom and a mirror site about a hundred and fifty miles away, we’re getting twenty-one megabits per second download and three point five megabits upload so now all three connected computers can be used to surf the web to each users heart’s content.
Price at the Shack, $179.98 plus California sales tax. And yes, at additional cost, I purchased a two year extended warranty. Price on Amazon, $139.97, no extended warranty, which includes, if you have a Prime membership, two-day shipping. But what can one do when your router is toast and your three computers don’t have online access?
This is an excellent unit and for the price, even if simply doing an upgrade, is money well spent due to the flawless speed performance this unit has brought to the online party.
